I feel that one of the greatest assets to a website is a content management system (CMS for short).

What the hell is it?

A CMS makes updating your website a breeze, with minmum computing knowledge. It makes 1 or more of your webpages maintainable in house - so you don't have to pay me to make the slightest changes in news items etc.

How does it work?

  1. Login to a passworded webpage
  2. Enter new text and editing existing text inside a word editor type environment.
  3. Press "submit"
  4. Logout and then check the relevant page at your website address. It has now been updated with what you entered into the editing screen.

This means that you can add events to a diary page, add press realeases or new updates about your company or even change contact details on pages.

Confused? Contact me and I'll give it to you straight!
